This blog is my one of three: pithy thoughts, readings, and keystrokes. It's an exercise of succinct eloquence.
- My first name is Zarina. It is of Persian origin, and its meaning is “golden”. But I’m not Persian.
- I now live in one of the five boroughs that make up New York City.
- March 3rd, 2007 was my half-and-half point—the amount of time I spent growing up in Malaysia was exactly the same as the number of years and months I spent living in America.
- Attended Columbia University. I have too many college degrees for my own sanity.
- I have two cats: cat # 1 and cat # 2.
- Coding is my trade, writing is my fate. Loving both is luck.
- I’m a Mac person.
- I read. A lot. I write too. Though not as much.
- I’m a polyglot, who loves words.
- I love The Simpsons.
- I think I love movies, but have no time for them.
- I’m a vegetarian, occasionally a piscetarian (pie - see - tay - rian).
